Accommodation

For anything longer than a day conference, St Mary’s offers suitable accommodation for up to 150 guests during the summer break break from the last week of November through to the middle of February. Our light-filled, single rooms have all been recently renovated, providing warmth, comfort and security.

Each room is accessed via a unique security card, and is fitted with:

Its own sink, with both hot and cold water

A single bed, mattress and mattress protector (linen options available, or school groups can bring their own)

Study desk and chair

Built-in wardrobe

Large overhead locking cupboard

Adjustable hydronic heating

Blinds and shades

Tinted double glazed glass with crimsafe screen

Internet access via ethernet cables (Mac users will need an adaptor)

In between conference sessions and meal times, St Mary’s has ample space around the premises to relax and unwind. This includes a restful common room, offering: comfortable chesterfield lounges, a mini library, and an after-hours kitchenette. If required, additional meeting spaces can be hired. Our onsite chapel provides a quiet space for reflection; alternatively, guests are welcome to enjoy the fresh air and green spaces of our beautiful grounds and picnic tables.

St Mary’s is perfectly located for longer stays, enabling your guests to explore Melbourne with ease. On your doorstep is cosmopolitan Lygon Street, where you’ll find Melbourne’s most authentic Italian gelati and finest coffee. The closest tram stop is only a 5-minute walk from St Mary’s. From there, it’s a 15-minute tram ride into the city, providing easy access to many of Melbourne’s highlights: Federation Square, the Emporium, St Patrick’s Cathedral, the Arts Centre and the MCG/Melbourne Park sporting precinct.
