St Mary’s College is a Catholic co-educational residential college affiliated with The University of Melbourne; it has an enrolment of approximately 165 students. Originally established by the Loreto Sisters, St Mary’s seeks to provide a supportive living environment in which students pursue personal excellence and participate in a full range of academic, cultural, physical, social and spiritual activities to enhance their university experience.
We are seeking Residential Tutors who will participate fully in our community life as members of our pastoral care team, and who will be proactive in attending to the personal and academic wellbeing of our students.

• engage with young adults in a respectful and caring manner
• support the college’s leadership in its vision for the college
• be flexible, cooperative, and responsible in all aspects of collegial life
Applicants will have completed an undergraduate degree or be very near to completion. Experience living in a university residential college and the ability to serve as an academic tutor in undergraduate subjects will be well regarded.
These positions are residential (including meals and utilities) for an initial academic year, with the possibility of renewal for a second year. Details on remuneration and other financial details are available in the
