The Allan and Maria Myers Academic Centre

The Allan and Maria Myers Academic Centre is a joint facility shared between St Mary's and Newman Colleges. Opened in 2004, it was designed by Maggie Edmond and Peter Corrigan to reflect the overall academic vision of both Colleges to enhance the educational facilities and opportunities available to the students of the Colleges.

The Allan and Maria Myers Academic Centre has ten tutorial rooms; four music practice rooms; computer room equpped with PC's and printing facillities; an extensive library (comprising collections from St Mary's College and Newman College ); a Choral Room; specialist collections (the Gerry Higgins Irish Library, the Allan Myers Law Library and the Maria Jens Australiana Collection) and a student lounge.  The facility is open 24 hours a day to students of the College.
