Consultations

At the end of the first term of each year all first year students meet with the Deputy Principal, and all other students meet with the Dean of Studies to discuss life in College and at University. This is an opportunity to discuss academic progress and raise any concerns as well as acknowledging their achievements and successes.

The Deputy Principal, Dean of Studies and Residential Tutors are available to discuss any difficulties with course selection and to offer assistance, guidance or referral advice. Students should consult staff in their  Faculty for advice prior to any changes in subjects or course.

The Principal, Deputy Principal and Dean of Studies are all available to meet with students throughout the year during office hours and also in the evenings. St Mary's staff maintain an open door policy and we welcome input from all students about life in the College as well as suggestions for change or improvements.
