PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS

St Mary’s College is affiliated by statute to The University of Melbourne.  Membership of the College is open to female and male students, undergraduate and postgraduate, who are pursuing a course at The University of Melbourne.  There are a limited number of places for students studying at other neighbouring institutions.

Selection Criteria

Residential positions are offered at St Mary’s College based on the following considerations;

• academic ability,
• leadership experience in school, church and local community,
• potential to contribute to the College community through peer leadership, academic excellence, musical, artistic or sporting participation,
• a commitment to social justice and an ability to contribute to the wider community and
• personal or family circumstances

Further factors may be taken into account at the discretion of the Principal and Deputy Principal and Dean and should be discussed at the College interview.
